Lauren joined Serein Family Law as an Associate in August 2026. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from Macquarie University in Sydney and has recently completed her Master of Applied Law (Family Law).

Lauren began her legal career working in banking and finance and restructuring and insolvency teams at international firms, before deciding to focus on family law in 2020 and dedicating herself entirely in this practice area. Her interest in family law stemmed from her desire to build genuine rapport and relationships with clients and provide them with guidance through a difficult time.

Lauren spent many years being mentored at one of Sydney’s most prominent family law firms. She now has extensive experience in various property matters, complex parenting matters (including relocation) and binding financial agreements.  In 2024, Lauren had the opportunity to travel and work in the Northern Territory, providing significant advocacy experience in the family law jurisdiction, representing a vast range of clients from various cultural backgrounds and circumstances. 

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys exploring Melbourne’s food scene, visiting Sydney to spend time with family and friends, keeping active at the gym and barracking for the Carlton Football Club.
